I am Melissa and I have spent the better part of my career in the health and wellness industry coaching clients and groups to help them achieve their utmost potential and teach them the tools for success.  I have always been passionate about home style and organization. I felt that now was the right time to combine my coaching skills and my passion and create a business that not only helps people become more organized but helps people to declutter and edit spaces in their home to reveal new possibilities that help to create balance in their lives.

Starting my own business has always been a dream of mine. I studied at McMaster University before becoming a fitness and wellness trainer through the American Council on Exercise. I completed the Home Staging course through Seneca College and the Professional Organizing Course through IAP college. I am a proud member of IAPO (International Organization of Professional Organizers).

I founded Summerside Design because we are all busy, but those of us who have had young children and busy lives know first-hand that it can be hard to find the time in your life to organize, edit, declutter, give your space a makeover or find new purpose for a space.  I can also assist with packing and unpacking during moves, light staging during the selling process and home styling during the move in process or when you are ready to just add new touches and accessories to your space.
